Fireboy and Watergirl revolve around two main characters. Each character has unique abilities and needs to coordinate with each other to overcome challenges.

The goal of the game

The main goal of the game is to get both Fireboy and Watergirl to the destination safely. To do this, the player must skillfully control both characters, making the most of each person's abilities.

Abilities of the two main characters

• Fireboy: Has the ability to move on red platforms and lava pools. Fireboy can activate fire mechanisms to clear the way.
• Watergirl: Has the ability to move on blue platforms and water pools. Watergirl can activate water mechanisms to clear the way.

Notable challenges

Each level is a unique puzzle with different obstacles such as:

• Traps: Traps such as spikes, deep holes, or water/fire streams can harm the character if not careful.
• Mechanics: Players must find ways to activate mechanisms such as lifts, opening doors, or streams of water/fire to open the way.
• Clock: Some levels have a time limit, requiring players to complete tasks within the specified time.

Cooperation is obvious

The most important thing in Fireboy and Watergirl is the cooperation between the two characters. Players must coordinate well to overcome obstacles and find the right path. For example, Fireboy can create a pool of lava for Watergirl to jump over, or Watergirl can create a pool of water for Fireboy to cool off.

To be able to control these two characters, invite your friends to transform into these two characters. Player one uses the WASD keys and player two uses the arrow keys for the other character. Both characters complete the challenge and stand at the new door to unlock the new challenge.
